Sutro Heights rocks is the fourth album from SKFS and a return to the more playful electronica of 'wow yr head', whilst digging deeper into the concept alum approach of 'mortal coils'. The tracks here were mainly conceived after a visit to San Francisco and the area around Sutro Heights.

Musically, this album is probably the most melodic album so far and features some sophisticated and beautiful chord progressions, whilst re-imagining something of the feel of old californian music and at the same time delving a little darkly and a little moodily.

From the recycled 80s casio keyboard, 90s boss drum of 'west coast with rolls', to the folky accoustic guitars of 'Fleishhacker pool' and 'Land's End sunset' intertwined within layers of synths, this album takes us on a journey through history and music.
